Rebecca Levit, MD | Cardiologist & Researcher, Emory University School of Medicine
Corami™ is the brainchild of Dr. Levit who practices as a Cardiologist at Emory University Hospital. In her practice, she realized that many drugs failed to achieve the therapeutic goals. As a researcher, she began to solve this problem with a novel approach of delivering therapeutics to the heart directly. In this quest, she published numerous peer-reviewed papers, received non-dilutive grants, and now serves as a clinical advisor to the Corami™’s team.
Rebecca Levit, M.D. is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at Emory University and a practicing cardiologist. She is an internationally recognized physician-scientist whose research focuses on targeted therapeutic delivery, biomaterials, and translational cardiovascular medicine. As the inventor of Corami's foundational technology, her work is advancing new approaches to localized treatment of heart disease.
